“Why the f**k not?”
That’s our motto around here. Ancient barbarians never bothered with pesky concepts like rules or limits, and neither do we. If we (or our customers) come up with a completely bonkers idea, we’re all in.
The coolest part of our brewery is that we can do whatever we want. All it takes are a few untamed minds, a little elbow grease … and maybe a few pints of beer. When you give civilization the finger, true innovation happens. Barbarian’s delicious, complex, artisan ales and lagers are a godless mashup of old world traditions and new world flavors.

Since our bartenders are so great at blending and mixing beers to create their own concoctions, we decided to do the same with a few barrel aged beers from the cellar. Behold the AMALGAMATION Brewer’s Blend featuring our 2018 Thor’s Might, 2020 Elixir of the Gods, 2020 and 2021 Morrigan, 2022 Old Man Dirk and 2023 Jörmungandr.

Back by popular demand (after aging in tequila barrels for a year) is our DESERT BLOOM Sour! This spontaneously fermented Golden Sour was aged in freshly poured tequila barrels and finished with 200 pounds of real prickly pear juice.
We also heard y’all’s demands from last year and made a bigger batch, so we now have draft AND bottles available at both Barbarian locations starting today.

West Coast IPA meets Pilsner. Made with Bohemian Pilsner malt and a moderately aggressive dry hopping at 3.5 pounds per barrel of Nelson, Citra and El Dorado hops. P.C.H. = Pacific Coast Highway.

Named after the Barbarian mascot and brew dog, Conan the Destroyer is the biggest and baddest Imperial Stout we have ever made to date. We brewed a strong Russian Imperial Stout (in honor of Conan’s Siberian Husky roots) and aged it in freshly emptied Bourbon barrels.
